Went to go play with my camera in Dc the other day, and happened upon the Pride festival of 2015. In all honesty, I was asked to help babysit some teenagers with my friend who didn’t want to be the acting adult.

No disrespect to anyone but I would NEVER bring kids to a pride parade. The pride parade here in NYC has some things that you shouldn’t expose kids too. Dudes flashing their penises, women flashing their tits and pussies it’s just way too much going on that kids wouldn’t be able to comprehend.

I agree, after two guys shamelessly dropped their speedos and mooned a few thousand Minors and a parade float of Lesbian strippers I started to question the whole meaning of this parade, what are they fighting for ? Equality or the right to do whatever they want in front of everyone ? I was uncomfortable after that.
Any other parade would have been shut down and the respective floats reprimanded.

Pretty much and you can’t say shit or you look like a bigot or a homophobe but in reality just want people to have consideration. I mean look at Irish parades and the type of drunkards that brings, that in no way helps people form positive opinions of the Irish culture when people are drunk and fighting in the street. Same goes for the Puerto Rican day parade in NYC which this year wasn’t that bad but when I was in high school people were getting jumped and stabbed. Or the West Indian parade they have in Brooklyn around Labor day that almost always ends in 3 shootouts.
Fuck parades bruh.
